At Poets in the Pines, an indie press dedicated to fostering the poetry community, we strive to inspire creativity, explore the full spectrum of human emotion, and nurture a love of poetry while creating a tangible impact in the real world.
We believe in seeing both the trees and the forest, honoring each individual voice while cultivating a thriving creative community. Poetry should be accessible to all, serving as a shared language that fosters growth, healing, connection, and belonging. Its impact should extend beyond the page, creating real change in our communities and in the world.
We're committed to empowering poets and creators to grow both artistically and financially while delving into the depths of human experience: grief, joy, rage, love, wonder, and rebirth. We transform those emotions into art that reminds us we're not alone. Through collaborative anthologies, which often feature international poetry, we create a sanctuary where diverse voices can be heard and where poetry becomes a force for both personal and collective healing.
We want to go bigger than just words, though. That's why 25% of the proceeds from every anthology we publish are donated to nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting those in need.
